The facilitation process provides a secure and respectful environment to address issues and difficulties affecting the functioning of a team or the capacity of team members to collaborate with each other. Where the team evolves in a climate of tension or where communications are difficult, the external facilitator sets up appropriate means of intervention to help people contemplate the situation with a different perspective and develop a renewed collaboration.

The facilitator accompanies team members in identifying their issues, fostering openness and constructive dialogue. The process allows the group to restore a climate of trust and explore avenues toward change and appropriate solutions.
