Mediation

Mediation is a voluntary process which allows participants to address various issues and reach different goals: enter into a difficult conversation, deal with interpersonal conflicts, improve interaction, settle a complaint, dispute or recourse.

It is a flexible and informal communication process through which the persons involved have the opportunity to talk to each other directly, in a private and confidential setting, in the presence of a neutral and impartial third person. The mediator facilitates the dialogue and supports the participants in their attempt to solve difficulties, helping them evolve towards a change in their interaction, an improvement of their situation, and a mutually acceptable agreement. Each participant may be accompanied by a person of his/her choice, counsel or other, for advice and/or moral support.

HR Mediation’s approach is to sustain the capacity of the persons involved to participate in the resolution of their difficulties and make their own decisions on the outcome of the situation.
