Mediation<\/h1>\n

Mediation is a voluntary process which allows participants to address various issues and reach different goals: enter into a difficult conversation, deal with interpersonal conflicts, improve interaction, settle a complaint, dispute or recourse.<\/p>\n

It is a flexible and informal communication process through which the persons involved have the opportunity to talk to each other directly, in a private and confidential setting, in the presence of a neutral and impartial third person. The mediator facilitates the dialogue and supports the participants in their attempt to solve difficulties, helping them evolve towards a change in their interaction, an improvement of their situation, and a mutually acceptable agreement. Each participant may be accompanied by a person of his\/her choice, counsel or other, for advice and\/or moral support.<\/span><\/p>\n
